About This Competition

Welcome to The North East Fitness Games Same Sex Pairs!

The North East Fitness Games is a brand new competition. We strive to achieve a world class competition for athletes, by athletes. We have plenty of experience competing. We are now going to take everything we know and love from these competitions and put them under one roof. Bringing huge names from within the sport including DJ Zakk Wild. All whilst teaming up with DoG Compete Programming to bring a fun, unique but a competitive set of events. Believe Me You Do Not Want To Miss Out!!!!!!

  • Buy-in: 50/40 Cal Assault Bike (share)

  • Into 8 rounds, "You go, I go" (4 each):

    • 5 Double DB Devils Press: 22.5/15 kg dumbbells.

    • 10m Double DB Front Rack Lunge. 22.5/15kg dumbbells.

  • Cash-out: 50/40 Cal Assault Bike (share)

Wod 3 - For time (12 min cap)

  • Buy-in: 40/30 Cal Assault Bike (share)

  • Into 8 rounds, "You go, I go" (4 each):

    • 5 Single DB Devils Press*: 22.5/15 kg dumbbell.

    • 10m Single DB Goblet Lunge. 22.5kg/15kg

  • Cash-out: 40/30 Cal Assault Bike (share)

  • *Note: Athletes can clean the dumbbell to shoulder and jerk it.

Amrap 10

  • Ladder of 5 reps: 5-10-15-20... etc.

  • Movements:

    • Cal Bike Erg: (Shared) Standard assault bike calorie count.

    • Thrusters: (Shared) 42.5/30 kg barbell for men, 30/20 kg for women.

    • Toes To Bar: (Sync) Standard toes to bar technique.

  • Share the Calories and Thrusters how you like. Synchro the Toes to Bar. Score is total reps!

Wod 1 - Amrap 10

  • Ladder of 5 reps: 5-10-15-20... etc.

  • Movements:

    • Cal Bike Erg: (Shared) Standard assault bike calorie count.

    • Thrusters: (Shared) 30/20 kg barbell.

    • HKR (Hanging Knee Raises): (Sync) Standard hanging knee raise technique.

  • Share the Calories and Thrusters how you like. Synchro the Hanging Knee Raises. Score is total reps!

Wod 4 - Chipper for time (10 min cap)

  • 50/40 Cal Row (share)

  • 40 Synchro Box Overs: 24/20” box, partners jump together.

  • 30 Sandbag Cleans (share): 60/40 kg sandbag.

  • 20 Synchro Down ups: Partners perform down ups together.

  • 10 Bar Muscle Ups (share)

Wod 4 - Chipper for time (10 min cap)

  • 50/40 Cal Row (share)

  • 40 Box Overs (share) 24/20” box

  • 30 Sandbag Cleans (share): 40/30 kg sandbag.

  • 20 Synchro Downups: Partners perform downups together.

  • 10 Sandbag Bearhugs Squats (each)

*Note: Athletes can jump or step for box overs.

Wod 2 - On a 15 min rolling clock

Rx

  • Part A (Score A): 9 Minute AMRAP

    • 60 Double Unders (Split as you like)

    • 20 Sync Wall Balls: Partners perform wall balls in sync.

    • 10 Sync Pullups: Partners perform pull-ups in sync.

    • 5 Power Cleans (share): 70/50 kg

  • Part B (Score B): In 6 minutes, find a combined load for the complex:

    • 1 Clean

    • 1 Hang Clean

    • 1 Jerk

  • Wod 2 - On a 15 min rolling clock
