About This Competition
A gift Card drive, in time for the holiday season. (pay here on Competition Corner or bring a $25, gift card (preferably, a gas card, amazon, or target like card) in person, day of, DM us for our 100% discount code, if you opt to bring Gift Card on day of, if you want your scores to count on the talley for podium.
ALL proceeds go to Support "Rainbow Services" 501(c)(3), a local non profit org, dedicated to supporting families directly impacted by domestic violence.
Those who donate can expect to particpate in a fun beginner and masters division friendly local competition. Only 1 of the athletes on the team has to be a beginner or a Master, the other athlete can be of any age or experience. The main goal is to give and to have fun and do what we do best as a FUNctional Fitness Community.

5min AMRAP (this will be 2 min after the "WOD for Familes" 10min amrap)
-5 Ground to Over head (RX)135/95, (Scaled) 95/65
-5 Burpees Over Bar
Athlete A works
Athlete B Rests (switch whenever)
(Any ground to over head, meaning snatch or clean n jerk/press)
-RX Mixed Division will have a 35lb bar totaling 115lbs
-Scaled Mixed will have a 35lb bar totaling 75lbs
6min AMRAP
Athlete A:Skis for Calories (Scaled Divisions will Row)
Athlete B:Farmer Carries for Max (50 ft Laps), switch at ANY time after a 50ft lap has been completed. RX 50/35, (scaled)35/20 DBs (mixed will do a combo of 53/35 KBs (1 of each weight), scaled mixed will do 44/26KBs (1 of each weight)
each 50ft lap will count as 1 rep, calories will count of course as 1 rep per calorie.
(score is total reps, Cals+Farmer Carry reps= score)
10min AMRAP
40 Double Unders or 80 Singles
30 DB Front Squats (RX)50s/35s, (Scale)35s/20s (mixed rx40s/scaled 25s)
20 Pull Ups or 40 Ring Rows
10 DB Lunges (total), and hold however, may lunge forward or backward.
"CrosssFit Open Standards"
Because this is Beginner friendly event athletes have the choice to do Double unders or Singles. 2 singles count as 1 double under. The reps will be counted as double unders. Same Principle applies to Pull ups vs ring rows (2 to 1 ratio), rings will be 3 ft from the ground and feet must be directly under the bar, tape will measure to keep the standard, and the rings must make contact with your body at flexion, and you must achieve full extention with each rep.
there will be a 2 min rest and then the next wod will start. (AMRAP 5 aka "Gift to lift and burpee")
