Legends West Regional
About This Competition
For the first time ever, in 2021, Legends will launch REGIONAL events in four US locations plus Australia. These events will qualify athletes in each MASTERS age division to the LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP.
To earn a spot for the 2021 Championship you must sign up for the CrossFit Open and then choose and sign up for a Legends Regional. Hurry, as spots will go fast.
LEGENDS WEST REGIONAL will be at Outcast CrossFit in sunny Las Vegas, NV. The event will run June 4-6 and include at least 6 workouts.
Male and female athlete spots are available for Vegas in each age group as follows:
12 for 35-54
8 for 55-59
6 for 60-64
6 for 65+
Registration is $250. Competitors will receive Reebok athlete gear, signs, and several sweet deals with vendors.
Come for the competition, for the atmostphere, and the after party. And for that spot to the Championships!
- You will choose your own weight for the strength event.
- All typical gymnastics is fair game (but there will be no ring muscle ups this year).
- Expect to see short running distances and machines (rower, Assault bike, ski erg)
- Higher rep barbell movements will be at typical weights for each age division (similar to CFG Open, as Rx)

Score is heaviest 3-rep + heaviest 2-rep + heaviest 1-rep.
- Athletes may make as many attempts as they like within the time frame.
- Athletes may choose any weights from the plates provided and may add or reduce weight as they choose.
- Athletes must successfully complete a 3-rep before moving on to the 2-rep and so on.
- BEFORE each lift, athlete must state the weight and how many reps they will do.

Running and Sandbag Cleans:
- 250m Run (outdoors)
- 10-8-6-4-2 Sandbag Cleans
35-49 men use 100# sandbag
50+ men use 75# sandbag
35-49 women use 75# sandbag
50+ women use 50# sandbag
Cleans begin on the ground and finish with the athlete standing fully extended and the sandbag on top of the shoulder. Bags must be dropped in FRONT.
For Time:
5-4-3-2-1 Wall Walks (50+ do 4-3-2-1)
25 (ish) -feet of Burpee Broad Jumps

100 feet Handstand Walk
Time cap:6:00
Athletes begin with back to the wall. Complete 5 wall walks, then burpee broad jump to the cone. Return to the wall for 4 wall walks, etc. After the single wall walk and burpee broad jumps, athletes will handstand walk in 20' segments until they complete 100 feet or until the time cap.
Wall Walk standards are similar to the Open. Athletes will be measured when they greet their judges.
TIEBREAK: time at the completion of the last burpee broad jump

Athlete must reset the monitor to 0 before each round. Athletes must remain seated until the correct number shows on the monitor.
Squats must reach depth and return to full extension.
TTB: Heels must break the plane of the rig at the bottom of each repetition.
