2024 CrossFit Route 7 Sadie Hawkins Dance
Join us on Saturday, May 4th for a Male/Female Partner Competition with both Varsity (RX) and Junior Varsity (Scaled) Divisions!
Early bird pricing is available for the first 10 teams (total, across divisions)!
FAQS
When will the workouts be released?
WODs will be released by the end of January on the CrossFit Route 7 Instagram.
What is the event schedule?
The event will begin at 8am, but a detailed schedule and specific event heat times will be released following the close of registration.
Can I bring my dog/cat to the event?
Pets are not allowed inside the gym.
Where should I park?
The parking map will be emailed to competitors prior to the competition date. Outdoor gym parking will be reserved for coaches and the athlete village.
What is the refund policy?
We are not giving refunds, but partner substitutes may be made prior to the close of registration on Saturday, April 14th.
What can I expect?
A Sadie Hawkins Dance T-shirt, a team goodie bag, prizes for podium teams, sponsors, and vendors (physical therapy, apparel, supplements, and massage therapy). Each team is guaranteed to compete in 5 events. There is no final event for top 5 finishers.

Event 1: Drama Club

- Score: Time to Complete 100/80 Calories (100 Varisty, 80 Junior Varsity)
- 1 athlete will Bike at a time, with other athlete resting by the start/finish line.
- Athletes can adjust Bike seat settings as they please, but are NOT allowed to touch the monitor.
- The working athlete must run to the start/finish line to tag the other athlete in.
- Following the completion of the Calorie target, both athletes will move to their barbells for Event 2.
Event 5: Missed the Bus

40' Handstand Walk (JV: 4 Wall Walks)
20 Synchro Single Dumbbell Snatch (50/35) (JV: 35/20)
40' Single Dumbbell Overhead Lunge (50/35) (JV: 35/20)

*Each 10' Handstand Walk/Lunge is 1 rep
- Score: Total rounds and reps
- Wall Balls are synchronized when both athletes are at the bottom of the squat.
- Single Dumbbell Snatches are synchronized when both dumbbells are locked out overhead. The DB Snatches do NOT have to be alternating - athletes can switch arms whenever they'd like. Athletes do not have to switch arms at the same time (1 athlete can alternate and the other can switch every 5, etc.).
- 1 athlete will work at a time, with the other athlete resting by the Wall Balls/DB Snatch (NOT the start line).
- Athletes can split the Handstand Walk/Lunge in any way, but must tag the resting partner in. Each 10' segment of the Handstand Walk/Lunge will count as one rep, so athletes can only switch after a 10' increment is completed.
- If an athletes does not complete a 10' increment unbroken, they must restart that 10' portion.

- Score: Time of completion
- 1 athlete will work at a time, with the other athlete resting by the start/finish line.
- Athletes can split reps in any way, but the working athlete must run to the start/finish line to tag the other athlete in.
- When transitioning to a Synchro movement, the working athlete does not have to tag the resting one in.
- When transitioning to a Non-Synchro movement, the working athlete does not have to run back to the start/finish line. Athletes will split up - one will run back to the start/finish line and the other will start working on the Non-Synchro movement.
- Line Facing Burpees are synchronized when both athletes' chests touch the floor. Athletes will do Line Facing Burpees on the same side as one another.
- Toes to Bar are synchronized when both athletes' feet touch the Pull-Up bar.
Event 3: Stuck in Detention

- Score: Total Rounds and Reps
- 1 athlete will work at a time, with the other athlete resting by the start/finish line.
- Athletes can split reps in any way, but the working athlete must run to the start/finish line to tag the other athlete in.
- Athletes do not have to stand up completely at the top of each Box Jump Over and can bound or step down. Clear Overs are NOT allowed.
Event 2: Weighted GPA
In Remaining Time after Event 1:
Establish 1RM Hang Snatch in Remaining Time
- Score: Total Weight Successfully Hang Snatched (Power or Squat)
- 1 athlete will lift at a time. Athletes will start with an empty barbell. They may help their partner load/unload the bar.
- Athletes do NOT have to tag each other in to lift - both athletes will remain in the lifting area.
- Athletes may do a Hang Power Snatch or Hang Squat Snatch. Any Hang position above the knees is allowed.
- The barbell must be off the floor before the 10:00 ends.
