About This Competition
Highfield Hybrid gym is a dream turned reality for 2 Preston based fitness enthusiasts. In March 2023 we opened our doors for the first time, after converting 2 barns on a family farm into a state of the art fitness facility offering a variety of training styles from functional fitness, strength, technique and sports specific sessions, and we are also an official Hyrox affiliate. Now entering into our 3rd year, we want to open our doors and share our space with the biggest and best athletes on the UK fitness scene.
Following a very successful in house event in 2024, this May we are ready to host our first open competition - FITTEST ON THE FARM
There will be 4 events + a grand final, featuring a variety of strength, stamina and skill based movements. Our programming team have been working very hard to bring you a competition that will push you to your physical limits whilst making you use your brain as well as your brawn.
This is a pairs event and will have the following categories -
RX MEN, RX WOMEN, SCALED MEN, SCALED WOMEN

Registrations are now open!
We will have local food vendors present on the day and some spot prizes for audience members to win. So come and join us for a great day of fun and fitness.

MALE RX:
Barbell - 60kg
Dumbbell - 22.5kg
Kettlebell - 24kg
Sandbag - 60kg
All Gymnastics - RX open standards
FEMALE RX:
Barbell - 42.5kg
Dumbbell - 15kg
Kettlebell - 16kg
Sandbag - 40kg

**Important to note that this is just a rough guide of what to expect on the day, the bulk of the gymnastics will be in the final. if you’re wanting to enter but are not sure which category to enter just give us a message on instagram.

Event 1 will be scored in 2 parts. Part A is max distance Ski. Part B is time to finish the workout.
Event 2 - 10 MIN AMRAP
Buy in: 20 Synchro Burpee Over Dumbbell
10 Synchro DB Front Squats
10 Pull Ups
4 Synchro Burpee Shuttle Run (+2 Each Round)
Event 3 - Cleans Lift Ladder
1 minute to hit max reps at each designated weight with 30 seconds of rest & reload time between sets
Minute 1 - 40kg
Each successful lift will be worth 1 point
Minute 2 - 50kg
Each successful lift will be worth 3 points
Minute 3 - 60kg
Each successful lift will be worth 5 point
Minute 4 - 70kg
Each successful lift will be worth 10 points
Minute 5 - 80kg
Each successful lift will be worth 20 points
