Workouts
In honor of Randy Simmons, 51, a 27 year LAPD veteran and SWAT team member who was killed in the line of duty February 6, 2008.
FOR TIME (11 min TIME CAP), AND WEIGHT

Then, in remaining time perform a 1RM HANG CLEAN

This WOD has 2 scores, you will have a time for Randy, and a weight for the clean.
Power snatches come from the ground to overhead in one movement. Split the reps however you want. Athletes must drop the bar below the shoulders or there is a 5 sec penalty.
When the 75 reps are finished (judge will record time) you have the remaining time to complete a 1rm HANG clean. You must stand the bar up completely before performing the hang clean. SQUAT OR POWER is fine. Your score is the weight completed by each athlete added together. For COED, you have 2 bars, but onlyone person can work at a time.
On power snatches and cleans, the rep doesnt count until the athlete fully extends the knees and hips for clean, and knees, hips, shoulders and elbows for the snatch.

At 3,2,1 both athletes will start with syncro burpees (chest and thighs touch the ground at the same time, but you DON'T have to jump over the bar at the same time)
Split the thrusters however you want in the remaining time each minute. When the new minute starts, no reps will count until syncro burpees are performed.
Thrusters can be a cluster for the first rep as long as you pass paralell in the squat and come to full extension of the knees, hips, shoulders and elbows each rep. No jerks are allowed with thrusters, they must be push pressed out of the squat.
Your score is your time. Any remaining thrusters will be added to your time in seconds.
There will also be a penalty if the bar is dropped above shoulder height (control the bar down), and if anyone is unable to consistently squat below paralell you will recieve a :30sec penalty.

Athletes split the work however you want.
T2B for intermediate, knee raises for scaled athletes. On T2B, athletes must start with hanging from the bar, feet off the ground. Both feet have to touch the bar at the same time, and then return behind the bar at the bottom of the kip. On knee raise, knees must elevate higher than the hip on each rep.
Devils press: the weights start on the ground, the athlete performs a burpee (hands on the DB) with chest to the floor between the DB. Holding on to the DB, the athlete stands from the burpee and brings both DBs overhead by way of Double snatch or Clean and jerk. THe rep is complete when the athlete locks out BOTH DBs with knees, hips, shoulders and elbows extended. Dropping the DBs above the knees results in a 1 rep penalty.
Box step overs are performed with 2 DBs hanging at your side. Step on the box with both feet and step down to the other side for 1 rep. Full extension is not mandatory.

For the Floater: You have 5 minutes to get as many Stone to shoulders as possible. The cals and tire flips are just the buy in!
You can split the cals however you want. The partner tire flips are 25m down, 25m back. The tire will start behind the cone, flip it past the 25m cone COMPLETELY and then flip it back past the starting cone. Then you and your partner can start the stone to shoulder. The stone starts on the ground and when you lift it to your shoulder, knees and hips have to be extended and the opposite hand has to come off the stone and extend to the outside (if you lift the stone to the right shoulder, the left hand will extend out to the left) the stone must land on the crash pad for the rep to count!.. You and your partner have to alternate reps for the reamining 5 min.
