About This Competition

This is a pairs Novice, Intermediate, and RX Online competition aimed at giving all fitness levels the opportunity to grab a partner and compete!

All registered pairs will be required to complete 4 WODs over 4 weeks. After the 4th WOD the top 5 in each category will have a 5th and Final WOD to complete. 

Format: Partners (M/M, F/F & M/F)
Novice:
Male/Male Pair, Female/Female Pair and Male/Female Pair
Intermediate:
Male/Male Pair, Female/Female Pair and Male/Female Pair
RX
Male/Male Pair, Female/Female Pair and Male/Female Pair

All WODS will be created equally for any pair combination.

WODs: 4 WODS

WOD Release & Submission schedule is as follows:


• WOD 1: November 3rd, 2016 at 12:00 PM – November 7th, 2016 9:00 PM
• WOD 2: November 10th, 2016 at 12:00 PM – November 14th, 2016 9:00 PM
• WOD 3: November 17th, 2016 at 12:00 PM – November 21th, 2016 9:00 PM
• WOD 4: November 24th, 2016 at 12:00 PM – November 28th, 2016 9:00 PM

   Final 5th WOD for top 5!

• WOD 5: December 1st, 2016 at 12:00 PM – December 4th, 2016 9:00 PM


The WOD’s will be made available by email (Check Your Messages) and on the event page!


PLEASE NOTE:

It is your responsibility to submit your video and input your score as soon as possible in order to be able to redo the workout if your score is not accepted as is. 


Having a judge count your reps/no reps is recommended, however not required as all videos will be watched and if necessary the judges can be overruled.

In order to validate your scores and ensure your video submission is valid please specify the following:

  1. Your name
  2. The equipment
  3. The weights used during the workout
  4. A timer/clock 
  5. All movements are visible on camera

You must submit a video link along with your score!


Prizes:

Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in the RX Division. Prize bags including sweet supplements will be awarded to all other divisions!

Prizes will be mailed out to individual winners following the competition.

Video submissions will be required for the top ten finishers in each divisions in order to qualify for prizing.

Novice:

3 HANG Squat Clusters (Clean/Thruster)

**1 Complex counts as 1 Round. Complex must be performed unbroken, you must alternate partners between rounds. Partners must share the rounds equally.**

Intermediate:

80 Burpee Box Jump Overs @ 24/20"
80 Deadlifts @ 205/145
80 Handstand Pushups

Novice:

80 Box Jump Overs @ 24/20"
80 Deadlifts @ 155/105
80 Hand release pushups

**Your score is how quickly you finish all 240 reps, however there is a time cap of 16 minutes. If you do not complete the WOD within the time cap then you will post how many reps you finished. 

WOD V is for the top 3 teams in either division!

Intermediate:

5 Rounds for time:
25 Power Snatch @ 95/65 lbs.
*25 Pull Ups (While 1 partner holds overhead press)
25 Squat Jumps

Scaled:

5 Rounds for time:
25 Power Clean & Jerk @ 95/65 lbs.
*25 Jumping Pull Ups** (while 1 partner holds overhead press)
25 Squat Jumps

**If you are able to do regular pull-ups, then you can substitute regular pull-ups instead of jumping pull ups.
