Mid Atlantic Masters Classic
About This Competition
We are a Masters only fitness competition, celebrating our Masters athletes 35yrs and up.
Our 5th annual competition will held on Saturday Oct 15th, 2022
All too often in fitness competitions the Masters category is an afterthought or not acknowledged at all. The prizes are less, the attendance is less or they are put in the scaled category with others of all ages.
We aim to gather Masters from all over the Mid-Atlantic to throwdown together in their own age groups. We have had teams from MD, PA, NJ, NY, VA, DC, NC, TN, WV, DE and welcome more!
Age Groups will be: 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60+
Divisions will be M/M. M/F and F/F. If you are both not in the same age group, you will compete in the average of the two. Example – Partner 1 is 55, Partner 2 is 49= AVG is 52 (50-59 age group)
Expect fun yet challenging workouts, a great community atmosphere with age appropriate music!
Registration begins 7/15/2022 — $195 per team
Refund Policy:
100% until 7/31/22 — 50% 8/1-8/31/22 — No Refunds after 9/1/22
Division Standards
35-39, 40-44: You can do many of the named CrossFit workouts as prescribed. Chest to bar pull ups for both men and women, T2B, HSPU. Ground to overhead 135# men or 95# women. Deadlift for reps 225# for men and 155# women. These are working weights, not a 1 rep.
45-49: Pull ups, T2B, Ground to overhead at 115# men or 75# women and deadlift 185# men or 135# women, Box Jumps, Wall Balls 20/14
50-54: Pull ups, T2B, Ground to overhead at 95# men or 65# women and deadlift 155# men or 105# women, Box Jumps, Wall Balls 14/10
55-59, 60+: small sets of Pull ups (at least one partner), T2B (same as pullups), Ground to overhead at 75# men or 55# women and deadlift 135# men or 95# women, Box Jumps 55-59, step ups 60+, Wall Balls 14/10, full depth squats
