Lifter's Unknown Battlegrounds
About This Competition
Lifter’s Unknown Battlegrounds is not your average lifting comp — it’s 1 v 1, bracket-style, double elimination, and you won’t know your lift or your opponent until the moment it’s time to throw down.
🎯 Each round:
• You vs an opponent
• 3 minutes to find your 1RM
• Lift chosen at random from our “hopper” (if it uses a barbell, it’s fair game)
🔥 Scoring uses a unique algorithm that factors in your age, bodyweight, and sex — meaning a 145 lb, 45-year-old lifter could outscore a 215 lb, 23-year-old beast. It’s about your relative strength based on your age bodyweight, and sex!
📊 2 Divisions:
• Experienced
• Intermediate
💥 Why we built this:
To unite the energy of CrossFit with the precision of Olympic and powerlifting — and to bring back the thrill of unknown and unknowable in a head-to-head setting.
This is a battleground. And only one lifter will stand undefeated.
