VETWOD 2021 - to benefit Global Surgical Medical Support Group
About This Competition
Welcome to VETWOD 2021
Proceeds benefit Global, surgical, medical support group
Held November 1-14, 2021
We are so thankful to be able to collaborate with GSMSG for our 4th annual competition.
VETWOD 2021 is centered around Veterans' Day. We could not be more excited about this collaboration. We have been hit hard by the status of Afghanistan and GSMSG has been instrumental in organizing boots-on-the-ground rescue and continued support overseas and here at home. This year we want to make one point clear, particularly for our veterans who served in the Middle East - your service mattered. We will donate 100% of our proceeds to this effort, so you can feel good about your support here mattering, too.
The statistics for veteran suicide are very high, and it feels like almost every day someone reaches out with the story of a comrade fallen to suicide. The status of the world and the military can be extremely traumatic, so we hope you will grab a buddy who needs support and ask them to sign up for VETWOD 2021. While we are thrilled about supporting GSMSG, our ultimate goal is to stop veteran suicide and support ongoing mental health through fitness and community.
You can help us make a difference.

And more!
--------
Workouts will take place November 1-14th. By popular demand, all workouts will be released and open for scoring at midnight on Nov 1. They will close at 24:00 Nov 14 - you may complete them in any order. Because of our new submission leniency, NO late scores will be accepted for any reason.
--------
If you are signing up as a team, you must do the workouts in the same physical location. Remote teams will not be accommodated this year. You can still do team workouts remotely, your team just won't be eligible for podium prizes.
--------
Movement standards will be posted by Oct. 15. If you can complete a standard workout "As Written," you are a great candidate for the RX category. Workouts will be posted when they are posted. As always, any questions should be asked well in advance of submission deadlines.
--------
Our list of sponsors is growing - you do not want to sleep on the winner swag this year! Keep up with our Instagram page for more information on the prizes from our partners.
