About This Competition

AXIOM SERIES : 001

A new standard in functional fitness competition.

AXIOM has been built with one objective:

To find the most complete athletes.

Not the best runner.

Not the strongest lifter.

Not the most skilled gymnast.

A true test of overall fitness requires balance.

Every phase of AXIOM has been deliberately structured to challenge a different element of human performance — strength, endurance, power, capacity, control, resilience and the ability to perform under fatigue.

No single discipline dominates.

No single strength guarantees victory.

Your advantages will be challenged.

Your weaknesses will be exposed.

AXIOM removes the specialist bias found in traditional fitness events and creates a more level playing field where the athlete with the greatest overall capacity rises to the top.

A repeatable test.

A measurable standard.

A new benchmark.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT TO OTHER COMPS AND EVENTS

Most fitness race styled events are just that, An event. Great fun, good for instagram, but normally lacking any methodology or programming that tests an individuals overall fitness.

Usually, they are also very run heavy along with the addition of machines, so more focused on endurance rather than equalised fitness over all domains.

Sometimes events can be more strength biased, focusing on heavy barbells, sandbags and moving and lifting strange objects in a gimmicky style of a workout or they are just very random in there programming approach and have no real rhyme or reason.

Many are extremely dominant in localised high rep fatigue (example: 100 wall balls, 1k run, 100 ground to overhead) Again, a fun day out, but no real structure or methodology in creating a truly level playing field which allows for intensity without over fatiging athletes.

With axiom, Athletes will take on multiple phases of work, not stations. Stations are visual, phases are intentional. These are separated by running intervals which are meant to allow for active recovery rather than being the main focus of the workout, This then allows athletes to transition from the runs into strength, conditioning and movement efficiency while maintaining performance from start to finish. rather than just holding on for dear life.

phases are also created to allow athletes to go at a higher level of intensity as they are broken into 3 rounds, per phase. this means localised fatigue is less likely to kick in as movements are broken at certain rep ranges.

Again these are great events and we are not saying you shouldnt take part in them, but if your looking for a fair test which we believe to be the most equalised test out there which isnt just an just an event.

With its 8 months of programming, 48 overall athlete pre simulated testing sessions (including high end hyrox and crossfit athletes) and its 32 reiterations up to date. Then AXIOM Should be the standard to go to, each year, 6 months? whatever, to see where your at with your overall fitness.

This is not just about finishing.

It’s about answering one question:

How fit are you?

Welcome to AXIOM.
