The Predator Games 2022 (Cheltenham 7s Festival)
About This Competition
Grab your ticket to take part in The Predator Games this summer, being held at Cheltenham 7s Festival!
This is the ultimate outdoor six person team competition with teams comprising of 3 men and 3 women. The Predator Games will test fitness, team cohesion and your CrossFit ability!
The competition will run from 9am-5pm on Saturday 23rd July and will be organised and hosted by CrossFit Cheltenham.
There will be three workouts for every team along with a final for the top teams. With a scaled and an RX’d category, everyone from the elite to the beginner can come along and get involved!
There will be some classic CrossFit equipment (barbells, rig, kettlebells, dumbbells etc) aswell as some more unusual movements or objects. It's outside in July so the weather should be amazing, but if not we may have to omit some of the equipment and change some of the workouts nearer the time.
Your team ticket includes:
Competition entry
Two days unlimited festival access
Camping for all team members (indoor shower and changing facilities)
The Cheltenham 7’s Festival will run from 12pm on Friday 22nd July through until the morning of Sunday 24th July.
You will be treated to live music and DJ’s throughout the weekend and a star studded performance by none other than Tinchy Stryder!
There will be delicious food, shopping stalls, and the opportunity to watch the Rugby, Netball and Dodgeball too.
All of this for just £420 per team (£70 per person)!

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 25 mins of:
30 Worm clean and jerks 135kg (MMFF)
80 Pull ups
30 Worm squats 135kg (MMFF)
40 Pairs sync pull ups
30 Sandbag cleans 60/50/40/30kg (MMFF)
20 Pairs sync chest to bar pull ups
30 Sandbag squats 60/50/40/30kg (MMFF)
10 Pairs sync bar muscle ups
(During all sets of gymnastic movements on the rig the team must hold the worm off the floor)
Scaled:
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 25 mins of:
30 Worm cleans 135kg (Any number of athletes)
30 Sync Russian KB swings 24/16kg (Three athletes working)
30 Worm shoulder to overhead 135kg (Any number of athletes)
30 Pull ups (Can be assisted by one athlete)
30 Sandbag cleans 50/40/30/20kg (MMFF)
30 Sync Russian KB swings 24/16kg (Three athletes working)
30 Sandbag/air squats (M30kg / M air / F20kg / F air)
30 Pull ups (Can be assisted by one athlete)
(During all sets of pull upsthe team must hold the worm off the floor)

In three sub teams, each pair will have two minutes to complete:
10 Sync single arm devils press 22.5/15kg
AMRAP sync burpees over the worm
6:00-7:00 Rest
Part B - 7:00-22:00
Teams will have 15 minutes for all athletes to establish:
1RM Deadlift
